Bonsai culture offers the greatest tree species and most beautiful on this planet. Since bonsai originate in Asia, probably China and Japan, the biggest tree Popular originate in this region.

Making bonsai elsewhere in the world can be complicated. If the weather does not correspond to the climate in Japan, may not be able successfully grow some of the most popular. Its temperature range can be too cold in winter nor too hot in summer. Other species bonsai enthusiasts are fond of Japanese pines. But, again, the cold can be a disadvantage. To the rescue comes the mugho pine. This pine will tolerate a temperature very cold, but is a very difficult plant to tolerate the many bonsai error. The mugho pine needles can be reduced very much like the Japanese counterpart also displays bark texture.

Another popular species is the Chinese elm (Ulmus parvifolia), but again, the cold is hard on this species. For a replacement, the less known Siberian elm (Ulmus pumila) can be as beautiful as the Chinese. Like the Chinese elm, Siberian elm as Twiggy branch grows rapidly and the leaves are reduction along with proper technique.

Some species of trees that others are tamarack or larch (Larix laricina) Forever Green, Sgt crabapple (Malus sargentii) for a flowering and fruit trees that produce or European birch (Betula pendula) for a broadleaf tree. All these features beautiful. For example, the tamarack is the only evergreen that is lost when the fall of the needles show itself, the needles turn from green to yellow for a few weeks before shedding. The sergeant crabapple gives some nice white and pink flowers in spring produce red fruit in autumn. European Birch as the bark of a good white paperish shell of itself easily. Besides all these are moderate to fast growing tree that would result in a bonsai nice in a few years.
