I bought my boyfriend a sterling silver ring has cubic Contains 1 white zirconias in round stone is 5 mm in diameter. There are 7 round stones that are over 2 mm in diameter each. We want to change the white stones of the red – not rubies! We were thinking either cubic zirconia garnet color, or natural garnets. We do not care how "genuine" are gems. we more concerned with brightness, good color and stones that are difficult to use. which is better for this? natural garnets or red cubes?
You would have to look at both and decide based on your personal taste. Both garnets are zirconias are cheap. Garnets are a common natural mineral, ans zirconia can be made as demand requires a laboratory, so not much of a stumbling block for its monetary value. As for me I would go to anyone who looked better for the price.
